Adrienne Mincz has worked in the Fitness, Wellness and Dance fields for over 30 years. She is the founder and Director of Where You Stand, a Wellness Studio specializing in Therapeutic Pilates, Postural and Movement Analysis, and Massage Therapy. Adrienne received her professional certification as a Postural/Movement Analyst from Tom Myers, Director of Kinesis and author of Anatomy Trains. She is a Licensed Massage Therapist, a member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals and a Certified Stott Pilates Trainer. Adrienne combines these Manual and Movement Therapies into a whole body approach which she calls Postural Recovery: personalized sessions that honor a clients unique needs while facilitating better balance, strength and muscle recruitment, and freedom from injury and chronic pain.
Adrienne danced professionally for 25 years and continues to teach at Wheaton College where she has been a Visiting Artist, Instructor and Choreographer for 12 years. Passionate about education, she teaches Master Classes in Dance, Movement, Postural Adaptation and Pilates both nationally and internationally and collaborates on workshops with other Fitness, Wellness innovators and medical professionals in the Boston area. In 1987 she was honored with the Cambridge Dance Teacher of the Year Award.
Adrienne finds great pleasure in assisting others to discover the benefits and joys of Movement and helping them continue pursuing their fitness passions. Her clients range in age from 17 to 76 and never cease to inspire her!
